ProjectWise integration gives you the possibility to manage, share and distribute Leap Bridge files (.lbs) in a single platform.

To access it click on ProjectWise Tab:

The ProjectWise tab will display two options, Preferences and Operations.

ProjectWise Preferences are used for login to Data sources:

• Silent Login - selecting this box will permit to connect into data sources without login. Without check box a User Name and Password are required to login to data source.

  
  

  
  
  

• Data Sources - select one data source from the drop-down list to connect to ProjectWise If data-source field is left empty and try one operation a proper message is shown.

ProjectWise Operations permit to add, open, update and view properties of Leap Bridge files from data sources:

• Add - select this button to store/save a Leap Bridge Steel file into data source. After login to data source is done, a dialog appear and can be chosen the method how to add the file, with or without wizard. Depending on the chosen method different dialogs are used to store the file into data source.
  Note: this option can be used when a Leap Bridge Steel bridge model exist or is saved on the computer disk, otherwise button is gray-out.
• Open – selecting this button will open an existing Leap Bridge Steel file stored into data source. After use it will give possibility to search between multiple folders from data source to find wanted Leap Bridge Steel file. However, if you try to open other format file this is not possible and proper message is shown.
  Note: Note - this button is always active and can be used with or without a model generated or saved in computer disk.
• Update – select this option to update existing file from data source. This option is available after use Open operation from ProjectWise tab and after file is generated in Leap Bridge Steel main view.

  After finishing all the changes for the file previously opened and click on Update, a save message should be present.

• Properties – this option will show the properties for Leap Bridge file stored in data source and is available when Add/Open operations were used.

  Main properties shown:

  • General – information’s related name, description, version, status, size of the file stored in data source. Moreover, can be seen the person who and when created/updated the file and the folder name were stored.
  • Security – information’s related security type and it is inherited from a name or domain.
  • Audit Trail – notices related actions name (checked in/out or freed), date- time and user name which made these actions.
